Donor types and services

Ovoria provides both anonymous (Non-ID Release) and non-anonymous (ID Release) donation options, depending on the legal framework of the recipient’s country and the donor’s preference. This flexibility allows intended parents to choose between complete anonymity or future disclosure of the donor’s identity, ensuring a more personalized match. The donor catalogue, which includes between 220 and 320 active donors at any given time, features detailed medical and personal information. Profiles provide phenotypic traits, education, personal essays, and in many cases both childhood and adult photographs. All profiles are accessible through Ovoria’s secure online platform, with coordinators available to guide intended parents in the matching process. Donor oocytes are supplied as vitrified eggs in Metaphase II, shipped worldwide using Ovoria’s robust logistics system. Eggs are available in different batch sizes, allowing patients and clinics to select the package that best fits their needs. Standard packages typically include sets of 6, 8, or 12 oocytes, with larger custom batches available upon request. Each package comes with guarantees regarding embryo development or blastocyst formation, providing reassurance and confidence in treatment outcomes. The website does not publish standardized prices, as costs depend on the selected package and the partner clinic through which the treatment is coordinated but it seems to be app. 400 EURO per oocyte delivered in before mentioned packages of 6, 8 and 12.

Genetic test panel

Genetic testing is carried out in two layers: standard screening includes karyotyping, cystic fibrosis, Fragile X, and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), while extended next-generation sequencing (NGS) panels analyse over 400 genes to detect carriers of autosomal recessive and X-linked disorders. This comprehensive system is designed to minimize genetic risks and ensure the highest safety for recipients and children born from donation.
