Founded in 1987, Cryos International is the world’s largest sperm and egg bank, providing services in over 100 countries. Donor types and services
Cryos offers both Non-ID Release and ID-Release donors. Donor profiles include both basic and extended information, such as personal characteristics, childhood photos and in some cases adult photos, and donor exclusivity options. Cryos produces donor sperm samples tailored to different country-specific standards. While all samples comply with EU regulations, some countries have additional requirements—for example, the UK and Italy mandate CMV screening. To meet these and other needs, Cryos offers country-specific sample categories such as ITA, UK, NL, and DE, among others, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and the highest levels of safety and quality. In addition, Cryos provides both IUI and ICI straws with different motility options, giving clients flexibility to select the preparation that best suits their treatment plan.
Genetic test panel
7 genetic diseases: Cystic fibrosis, Hemoglobinopathies (including Alfa thalassemia, Beta thalassemia, Sickle cell), Spinal muscular atrophy, Tay Sachs. Candidates with a family history of serious hereditary mental and/or physical diseases are rejected. Donors are also screened for normal karyotype. Panel matching – broad testing of more than 300 genes available. Single Gene Matching – for people who are known carriers.
