Donor Network is a Danish sperm bank and network of fertility clinics. Donors donate at partner clinics, where they are rigorously screened ensuring they meet high clinical and ethical standards. This close collaboration ensures that every donor is personally assessed and endorsed by fertility professionals. Donor Network applies to one of the most comprehensive screening programs in the industry. All donors undergo: Genetic and infectious disease testing, sperm quality analysis, IQ screening, criminal background checks, psychological assessments and personal interviews with fertility clinic staff.
Donor types and services
Donor Network offers both ID-Release and Non-ID Release donors, with basic and extended profiles that include medical and personal background information as well as baby photos and I some cases adult photos, and donor exclusivity options. Donor sperm is available in ICSI MOT2, IVF MOT5, IUI MOT10, and IUI MOT20 straws, giving clients and clinics flexibility to select the preparation and motility that best suits their treatment plan.
Genetic test panel
Donors are screened for a range of autosomal recessive conditions, including, but not limited to Cystic Fibrosis (CFTR), non-syndromic hearing loss (GJB2), Beta-hemoglobinopathies (HBB), Alpha-thalassemia (HBA1, HBA2), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMN1), Tay-Sachs disease (HEXA), Phenylketonuria (PAH). In addition, all donors undergo chromosome analysis, STD screening, and CMV testing, ensuring compliance with Danish and EU regulations.
