Reprobank was the first sperm bank in Latin America to introduce Open ID donors with extended information available.
Donor types and services
Reprobank offers both Non-ID Release (Conventional) and ID Release (PIA) donation options. Conventional donors remain anonymous but provide photograph(s) of the donor as a baby, phenotypic characteristics (height, weight, hair/eye colour, skin tone), sociodemographic traits, personal qualities and faults, interests, hobbies, self-description, and motivations. PIA (Programa de Identidad Abierta) donors offer the same detailed profile, with the added option for donor-conceived persons to access identifying information when they reach the age of majority
Reprobank provides donor sperm in IUI and ICI vials, with options suited for different fertility treatments. Specific vial types and motilities are available upon request through clinics.
Genetic test panel
Donors undergo genetic and medical evaluations, including Karyotype analysis and Cystic Fibrosis (full gene sequencing). These measures ensure donor samples meet international quality standards.
